Your hosts Frans and Martina would like to welcome you to Finca La Paz, their finca (rural house with land) of 6000 square meters which includes two holiday apartments. The "Gatehouse" and the "Poolhouse" are two independent, self-catering apartments, set within this beautiful area of inland Andalucia. From early spring the heady scent of orange blossom is in the air and later when the fruit is ripe, guests are free to pick and squeeze their own oranges and lemons. There are also figs, grapes and olives, all of which flourish in the fertile valley. The climate is superb with an average of 320 days sunshine a year. Long hot summers and mild winters make this an ideal rural holiday resort at any time of the year.
The views are spectacular towards the Málaga and Mijas mountains and beyond to the ski-resort of the Sierra Nevada (Snowy Mountains). Set between two typically
andalucian towns Alhaurin el Grande (2km), and Coin (4km), the apartments are ideally located to enjoy everything inland Andalucia has to offer, whilst being within
half an hours drive of the resorts and beaches of the Costa Del Sol, such as Marbella, Puerto Banus, Torremolinos and Fuengirola.

The history of Andalucia can be seen in the fine examples of Moorish architecture to be found in Granada, Cordoba and Malaga. Seville and Ronda also contain
many sites of historical interest dating from as far back as Roman times.
Andalucia additionally offers areas of outstanding natural beauty such as the rock formations of 'El Torcal', the lakes at 'El Chorro', the remarkable caves at Nerja,
and the Sierra Nevada which are striking in every season.
The apartments are ideally placed if you are looking for an activity based holiday. Horse-riding, tennis, mountain-biking and mountaineering are all available
within 20 minutes and golf courses are plentiful with at least 7 within 30 minutes of the accommodation.
